Endocrinology

OHIO:  Establish an independent endocrinology practice in a beautiful college town of 26,000 located 55 miles south of Cleveland and 30 miles west of Akron.  You can either be directly employed by the hospital or receive financial assistance to create a private practice.  The 140-bed hospital has served the community and its surrounding population of 116,000 for more than 50 years and is in the process of a multi-million dollar expansion - its 4th in the last 8 years.  The hospital has been named one of the nation’s Top 100 by Thomson Healthcare.  The award recognizes excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance and efficiency.  The community offers a laid-back atmosphere and is the home of three major educational and research institutions giving it one of the highest concentrations of PhD's per capita in the State.  A recent article in Ohio Magazine began with this startling comment, “If you spend any amount of time listening to business owners, community leaders and residents..., the community will begin to sound less like a town and more like a co-op.  Talk of citizens coming together to help one another, rallying in the face of adversity and embracing life together is commonplace.”  It is this "Spirit of Community" which makes it such a special place.  Another delightful and distinctive feature of the town is the large number of Amish who live simple 19th century lifestyles in nearby rural areas.  The thriving Historic Downtown features brick sidewalks, beautiful streetscaping, renovated historic buildings and is filled with surprises: restaurants, bistros, coffee shops, a Hungarian bakery, antique dealers, art galleries, pottery studios, jewelers, bookshops and much more.  Please contact Charles Humes at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail cjh@foxhillassociates.com.

WISCONSIN:  Come join a dynamic, growing and productive endocrinology practice in beautiful north-central Wisconsin.  The incoming physician will have an established 100% endocrinology practice, as a highly productive group physician recently retired.  Currently the endocrinology staff includes two full-time, board-certified endocrinologists and a FT clinical nurse specialist (adult and diabetes management).  The practice is supported by a full-time Diabetes Education and Nutrition Counseling Center, located on site.  The Center is staffed with both full and part-time CDEs (RN and RD).  In addition, there are four full-time internal medicine physicians with the practice.  This endocrinology practice is a mature, well-respected and thriving practice, formed over 25 years ago.  The clinic is immediately adjacent to the Hospital.  The practice provides over 20,000 patient visits per year, with the vast majority being in an ambulatory setting (78%).  Payor mix is almost equal proportions of Medicare (47%) and commercial/contracted (44%), with the remainder self-pay and a small percent of Medicaid (<3%).  Physicians are paid on a generous RVU production basis, although guarantees can be negotiated for the initial start-up period.  An extremely competitive two year income guarantee with an RVU-based production incentive will be provided.  Immediate quarterly production bonuses with tiering potential are possible.  Please contact Charles Humes at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail cjh@foxhillassociates.com.
