WISCONSIN:  Join a group of four GI’s who practice at a 350-bed medical center which serves a population of 400,000 in central and northern Wisconsin.  The group is actively recruiting two board-certified or board-eligible GI’s for partnership positions.  The ideal candidate will have strong clinical, endoscopic and interpersonal skills.  Three of the four GIs in the group are adult GI’s; one is a pediatric GI.  Call will be shared amongst the three adult GI’s making call one in four.  Hospitalist coverage is available 24/7.  ERCP and EUS training are preferred but not required.  All the GI’s perform ERCP and two provide EUS.  The group is willing to sponsor an additional year of advanced endoscopy or EUS training.  The group is procedurally strong, performing over 6,000 last year.  These included ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, PBG testing, manometry, argon laser, EUS Capsule Endoscopy, BRAVO pH monitoring and PDT (Photodynamic Therapy).  Each GI performs an average of 200 procedures per month.  This is a partnership position.  Partnership income is based on production.  Most of the partners earn in the top 10% of GI income.  First year income will be a salary plus production bonus.  This charming and rapidly growing community of 40,000 is located in northern Wisconsin.
