Orthopaedic Surgery- Hand

ALABAMA:  This clinical practice has the potential for 600 to 700 orthopaedic hand cases per year.  The current hand surgeon, who serves as the only fellowship trained hand surgeon in a service area of 300,000+ residents, is planning to retire.  This is a partnership track position with a fee-for-service private practice.  The practice currently has seven subspecialty trained orthopaedists and a physical therapy and MRI service.  A surgery center affiliation is pending.  Qualifications should include:  certified or recertified in orthopaedic surgery, fellowship trained in hand surgery, willing to take general orthopaedic ER call.  Hospital and practice call rotation is every 5th night and 5th weekend.  This modern metropolitan area has all the conveniences of a large city, and excels in offering recreational opportunities and a wide presentation of the arts.  Forbes magazine ranks this city as one of the top 3 cities in the USA for “best paying, high tech jobs.”  The local economy is bolstered by an Air Force Base, and the 17,000 military, civil service and contract personnel employed by the base.  Please contact Wade Christoffel at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail wchristoffel@foxhillassociates.com.
