Pediatric- Cardiology

MIDWEST:  Fox Hill Associates of Milwaukee, Wisconsin is conducting a nationwide search for a Pediatric Electrophysiologist on behalf of a private pediatric cardiology group in a major metro area of the Midwest.  The group is the exclusive provider of pediatric cardiology and heart surgery for a Children’s Hospital which has performed more than 10,000 pediatric heart surgeries since the program’s inception.  The group currently has one pediatric EP.  The incoming physician will have the opportunity to focus the great majority of their time to electrophysiology cases and procedures.  An equally shared call rotation will require the new physician to cover some general pediatric cardiology patients.  It is anticipated that the new physician will be on primary call five weeks per year and backup call five weeks per year. The practice has outstanding support staff including:  10 pediatric echo sonographers, 2 full-time EP-Pacing support people, a dedicated nurse practitioner to assist in hospital rounds and 32 additional professionals.  Experience in device implantation is necessary and interest in adult congenital heart disease is desirable.  Clinic hours are usually from 9am-5pm daily and group physicians generally have one afternoon off per week.  It is projected that the new physician will be in the pediatric catheterization lab doing procedures one to two days per week.  Please contact Charles Humes at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail cjh@foxhillassociates.com
