ARKANSAS:
A 270-bed
regional medical center in Arkansas is seeking to add an additional Nephrologist.
The medical center is located in an area that is very attractive to retirees and
is adding staff to keep pace with the growing needs of this older population.
The retirement of one nephrologist and the movement of another out of state have
resulted in the need for recruiting at least one more nephrologist. The new
nephrologist will become the Associate Medical Director of the local
twenty-chair dialysis center with an equity position in the center. The
dialysis center is jointly owned by the hospital and the existing nephrologist.
Practice options are to affiliate with the existing nephrologist or become a
hospital employee or, with hospital assistance, establish an independent private
practice. An attractive compensation and benefit package will be provided. An
additional $80,000 relocation loan is offered by the hospital. This loan is
forgivable over time. The medical center is located in an officially designated
medically underserved area and can sponsor J1 or H1 visa holders. Located in
the heart of the majestic Ozark Mountains of north central Arkansas, this
location has emerged as a regional center for quality healthcare. This
