ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY

ALABAMA:  This clinical practice has the potential for 600 to 700 orthopaedic hand cases per year.  The current hand surgeon, who serves as the only fellowship trained hand surgeon in a service area of 300,000+ residents, is planning to retire.  This is a partnership track position with a fee-for-service private practice.  The practice currently has seven subspecialty trained orthopaedists and a physical therapy and MRI service.  A surgery center affiliation is pending.  Qualifications should include:  certified or recertified in orthopaedic surgery, fellowship trained in hand surgery, willing to take general orthopaedic ER call.  Hospital and practice call rotation is every 5th night and 5th weekend.  This modern metropolitan area has all the conveniences of a large city, and excels in offering recreational opportunities and a wide presentation of the arts.  Forbes magazine ranks this city as one of the top 3 cities in the USA for “best paying, high tech jobs.”  The local economy is bolstered by an Air Force Base, and the 17,000 military, civil service and contract personnel employed by the base.  Please contact Wade Christoffel at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail wchristoffel@foxhillassociates.com .

OHIO:  Partnership track position with a successful five surgeon orthopaedic practice.  The additional hand/upper extremity surgeon can develop a patient base of exclusively elective hand/upper extremity cases, if desired.  The practice will move into a wholly owned clinic with rehab facility, x-ray suites and MRI in 2008.  The practice currently includes a non-surgical sports medicine physician, physician assistants, physical therapists and athletic trainers.  The orthopaedists handle over 1,500 surgical cases per year.  There are no hand surgeons in the service area of the local 140-bed hospital, which offers six surgical suites.  The community is in northeastern Ohio, a one hour drive from the Cleveland metropolitan area.  The city has a 2,000 student four-year college and an extension of The Ohio State University Technical Institute.  Please contact Wade Christoffel at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail wchristoffel@foxhillassociates.com .

WISCONSIN:  A partnership track position with a respected orthopaedic group is expanding to six surgeons.  The service area has recently experienced the retirement of a local hand surgeon.  This well managed practice seeks a surgeon who desires a quality, versus quantity, of care affiliation.  The practice has two offices, with one being on the campus of a new community hospital, where 90+% of the surgeries are performed.  A competitive salary plus production-based compensation and other financial incentives in year one is being offered with a nominal buy-in to the partnership.  Reside in the Greater Milwaukee Area, which boasts 3 of the Top 100 Towns in the USA (Money Magazine, July 2007).  Please contact Wade Christoffel at (800) 338-7107 or e-mail wchristoffel@foxhillassociates.com .
